The Academy of Cinematographic and Theatrical Art N.S. Mikhalkov is a large—scale educational project aimed at theater and cinema professionals with higher specialized education, whose goal is to promote the professional growth of a new generation of specialists, establish creative and human ties between people from different countries, exchange experience on the basis of the main cultural achievements — Russian theater and cinema.

For 10 months (from September to June), students will study with leading Russian and foreign teachers. 

Thanks to the support of the Charitable Foundation "12", students do not pay tuition fees at the Academy (the Foundation pays in full for the training of applicants who have successfully passed all entrance tests). The academic year is divided into three stages. In the first, participants undergo theoretical training and work on creating working material. As a result, the "protection" of the created project is carried out. The second stage is devoted to practical classes.
